.defaultbox is back with the well done EP „Rise“ by label head Patrick himself under his new alias 10.000 BC. The EP is breaking boundaries and forming connections between ambient and timeless dub techno grooves. The EP opens with „7am“ which is an interplay of nature sounds, warm pads and breakbeats. „2pm“ is a colorful and warm journey into deep space. The EP closes with „3am“ which shows the tension between the organic warmth and uplifting energy of a dance floor track, followed by a heavy and thundery remix by the very talented Portuguese DJ and producer Robert Hoff.
